Itinerary

Check in at Cape Town Lodge Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast at hotel. Robben Island and Table Mountain Tour: A power mix of South African history and natural beauty. Highlights include the ferry ride with Cape Town views, a bus tour around the island seeing historical sites like the leper cemetery, lime/bluestone quarries, army bunkers, and Robert Sobukwe’s house. Guided tour through the Maximum-Security Prison with ex-political prisoners, culminating in seeing Nelson Mandela’s cell, offering raw insight into apartheid’s history and the struggle for freedom. Lunch at a beach restaurant.

Breakfast. City tour on a hop-on hop-off tour bus. Groups will be split into a maximum of 12 with each group accompanied by a teacher. Major highlights via multiple routes, including the Red City Tour (Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront, Bo-Kaap), Blue Mini Peninsula Tour (Kirstenbosch Gardens, Atlantic Seaboard views), and the Purple Constantia Wine Route. Key attractions covered include Table Mountain Cableway, V&A Waterfront. Dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, City tour on a hop-on hop-off tour bus. Tours offer stunning panoramic views of Cape Town, the V&A Waterfront, and the coastline, via the rotating Aerial Cableway or hiking trails like Platteklip Gorge. Highlights include exploring the unique flora (Cape Floral Kingdom) and fauna (rock hyrax, ghost frog), diverse activities (hiking, abseiling), and the iconic flat-topped peak itself. Dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, students will go on a guided shopping/city tour in groups. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay.

Breakfast and transfer to the airport. Return to Harare. Meals will be served on board for both the Cape Town to Johannesburg leg and the Johannesburg to Harare leg. On arrival, a light meal will be served.
